1. A piece of felt (or another fabric that doesn't fray) in your favourite colour (approximately 23cm square).
2. A length of Velcro (about 5cm). You could use a longer piece (20cm) if you wished. See if you can get a colour to match the colour of the felt.
3. Some sewing thread in a similar colour to the felt.
4. Some embroidery thread in a different colour (choose a colour that looks good with the colour of your felt).
5. Some pins.
6. A needle with a big eye.
7. A pair of scissors.
8. A pencil and ruler.
