On level 1 (fairly easy-peasy for most 7-8 year olds) you’ll sample super similes. A simile is when you say that a person or place, animal or thing is like something else. A simile always uses the word ‘as’ or ‘like’.
Here’s some similes: ‘As cold as the grave’ (spooky!) and ‘Her eyes are like stars’ (lovely!)
