What if everybody rode a bicycle? For one thing, hedgehogs would be happy! Did you know that hedgehogs like bicycles? Well they do.

Unfortunately, cars are very dangerous to hedgehogs because they aren't very good at crossing roads, and often get squashed by them. Hedgehogs would prefer it if cars didn't exist and if big roads didn't cut through the countryside where they live. Cars also give off smoke and fumes that damage the grass, plants and trees that hedgehogs and other animals like to live in and eat.

Bikes, on the other hand, are much safer for our little spiky friends. They don't need big roads, don't give off horrible fumes and, most importantly, don't squash hedgehogs! Harry the Hedgehog is the What If expert on bicycles, and he's going to tell you some interesting stuff about them.
