What is air pressure?
|
|
Air has weight, and so the air at ground level is compressed by the weight of the air above pressing down. This gives us air pressure. Low-pressure areas at ground level are caused by warm air rising and cooler, denser air moving in. Wind always blows into a low pressure area.
