What did Romans eat?
|
Most homes did not have kitchens, so many people ate cold meals or bought hot food from a takeaway! The rich had three good meals a day: bread and fruit for breakfast; cheese, cold meat or fish, and vegetables for lunch; and a three-course dinner.
