Where is Sugar Loaf mountain?

This 400 metres high mountain, which Brazilians call Pão de Açúcar, is a famous landmark in Rio de Janeiro. It is a cone-shaped rock that juts into Guanabara Bay, a deepwater inlet of the Atlantic Ocean. A cable-car trip to the top gives visitors a wonderful view of the city and Copacabana beach. Nearby, the Corcovado, or 'Hunchback', mountain has a huge statue of Christ at the top.
