Were dinosaurs intelligent?
|
Many dinosaurs had very small brains, especially given their huge body size, and they are unlikely to have been as clever as modern mammals. There are dinosaurs, however, that had lifestyles that suggest a certain amount of intelligence. For instance, some of the smaller, predatory dinosaurs, like Deinonychus, hunted in packs. This would have required good co-ordination and communication. | Deinonychus was a fast, meat-eating dinosaur that hunted in packs. |
