What is the difference between a mixture and a compound?
|
A mixture contains two or more substances that can be separated by physical means. For example, a mixture of iron nails and pebbles can be separated using a magnet. In a compound, two or more elements are bound together chemically and cannot be separated except by chemical processes. | A mixture and a compound |
