Which place has the least rain?
The world receives an average of 86 centimetres of rain, snow, and hail each year. But some places get little or no rain at all. The driest place in the world is Arica in Chile, which receives less than a tenth of one millimetre of rain a year. In parts of West Africa and South America, rain falls nearly every day.
