What are molecules?
|
A molecule is the simplest part of a substance that can take part in chemical reactions. It is a group of two or more atoms linked together. The atoms may be the same or different. For example, a molecule of water is made of two hydrogen atoms linked to an oxygen atom. An oxygen molecule is made of two oxygen atoms linked together.
