High Climber
In 1908, Annie Peck achieved 2 very different records. When she scaled the 6,768 metres peak of Mount Huáscaran in Peru she became the first woman to climb to such a high altitude. She was also the first climber to wear an 'anorak,' or Eskimo suit, which she borrowed from a museum.
