Living Spears
|

Needlefish live in tropical seas and oceans. Up to 1.5 metres long yet weighing only 4kg, these slender fish leap from the water when disturbed. It is bad news if someone gets in their way. One sailor was speared to his boat when a needlefish ran him through the leg.
