Where are Africa's national parks?
There are national parks and wildlife reserves all over the continent. Leopards hunt gazelles in the Masai Mara National Reserve, in Kenya. Leopards live on the savannah (grassy plains with scattered trees). African elephants roam more wooded areas, and are protected from poachers. The Serengeti, in Tanzania, and South Africa's Kalahari Gemsbok National Park are both famous for their herds of wildebeest and antelope.
A leopard can reach 37 mph (60 kph) when chasing prey.
