Aborigines are masters at surviving in the outback of Australia
The outback, or 'bush', is a name for the desert areas of Australia that have a few shrubs and some trees. More than a third of Australia is desert, but it gets slightly more rainfall than most desert areas. The light rain creates a thin cover of vegetation, hence the name 'bush'.
