Where does the bird of paradise live?
|
Almost all the different kinds of birds of paradise live in the forests of New Guinea and the neighbouring islands. Just a few inhabit the mountain forests of north-eastern Australia. The males have brilliantly coloured feathers, some long and elegant, some fluffy, and others like long wires on the head or tail. They use their plumage to attract females. | A bird of paradise |
