What is Scandinavia?
Scandinavia is the name for a region in northern Europe that is made up of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. The island of Iceland is usually considered to be part of Scandinavia too. From the 8th to the 11th century AD, the Scandinavian countries were the home of the Vikings, and the Scandinavian people share their history and mythology.
