The European Union (EU) is a union of 15 countries. Its aim is to make trade between the member countries cheaper and easier. The countries that belong to it are Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Finland, and Sweden.
