How fast does our hair grow?
Hair on the scalp normally grows about 1.25 cm a month. Most adults have about 120,000 hairs on their head, but they do not all grow all the time. Every six months or so hairs go into a resting phase; up to 10 percent of our scalp hairs are resting at any one time.
