Where is the Wailing Wall?
The Wailing Wall is a wall of huge limestone blocks in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. It is actually the Western Wall, the last remaining part of the Temple of Jerusalem. The first Temple was built by King Solomon around 950 b.c. and has been destroyed and rebuilt twice. The Wailing Wall is one of the most important places of prayer in Jerusalem for Jews.
