How big was the biggest dinosaur?
The biggest dinosaurs were the huge plant-eating sauropods. They had long necks allowing them to reach up to feed from the tops of trees, and long tails that helped them to balance. The longest was Seismosaurus; it measured 40 metres in length. The biggest meat eater was the fearsome 15 metres long Giganotosaurus.
