How does an armadillo hide?
The scaly armadillo is a slow-moving mammal that feeds on insects and other small animals. It has powerful forelegs and is an expert digger. It uses this ability to construct a large burrow for itself. If it is threatened it will try to hide in its burrow. If it cannot get to its burrow in time, it curls up into an armoured ball.
