Do reptiles cry?
You may have heard the expression 'crocodile tears,' which means false or pretend tears. Many reptiles do cry, including crocodiles, but they do this because the flow of tears helps to clean out and protect their eyes, not because they are unhappy. The sea turtle spends its life in the warm oceans of the world, feeding on jellyfish and sea snails. As it swims, it often swallows salty seawater. The turtle cries to get rid of excess salt.
A sea turtle swims through the water using powerful flippers to drive itself along.
