Does the killer whale deserve its name?
Yes, the killer whale is a fierce and ruthless hunter. Included in its diet are penguins, seals, dolphins, and even other whales. It is not just the sharp teeth and streamlined speed of the killer whale that make it such a deadly predator, but the way that it uses its intelligence. When killer whales attack another, larger whale, a number of them will grab on to its tail to tire it out and slow it down, while the rest bite at its vulnerable lips and tongue.
The sharp teeth and streamlined shape of the killer whale make it a deadly hunter.
