What shape is an amoeba?
An amoeba has no definite shape. If it wants to move somewhere it can extend part of its body in the appropriate direction to form a temporary foot, or pseudopod. The rest of the body then flows up to it. If it encounters food it can make part of its body stretch out to surround and engulf the food.
The body of an amoeba is made from a single cell.
