What is the world's largest passenger aircraft?
The Boeing 747 can carry over 550 people; more passengers than any other aircraft. It is so large that it has been nicknamed the Jumbo Jet by air crew. A Boeing 747 measures 70 metres long, 20 metres high, and has a wingspan of 65 metres. Its fuel tanks are so large that it can carry enough fuel for flights of over 8,000 miles (13,000 km).
