What happens when colours are mixed?
Coloured lights mix differently from coloured paints.
Coloured lights mix differently from coloured paints.
The result depends on whether you mix coloured lights or coloured paints. The three primary colours of light - green, red, and blue - combine to produce the secondary colours: yellow, magenta, and cyan. All three primaries mix to make white light. The primary paint colours are yellow, cyan, and magenta. They combine to make black. The corresponding secondary colours are red, green, and blue.
