Are there any useful minerals on the ocean bed?
At the ridges in the bottom of the major oceans, new rocks well up from volcanic fissures as the sea bed expands. Hot gases and liquids also escape from vents, carrying many useful minerals, such as gold and titanium. There are also rocky nodules containing metallic elements like manganese.
