How long did the first journey to the Moon take?
Apollo 11 made the first Moon landing on July 20, 1969. The mission lasted 195 hours and the astronauts travelled nearly 1 million miles (more than 1.5 million km). Armstrong and Aldrin spent 22 hours on the Moon.
