Which was the tallest dinosaur?
Many of the huge, plant-eating dinosaurs had long necks. The tallest was Brachiosaurus, which not only had a long neck but also long front legs. It could stretch up to 12 metres and probably fed on the tops of trees, the way giraffes do today. It needed legs the size of tree trunks to support its great weight.
