What meats do pigs provide?
Pigs are reared for their meat, which is either eaten fresh as pork, or in cured form as bacon and ham. Different pig breeds serve different needs. The Duroc, Berkshire and Saddleback are primarily pork breeds, while the Tamworth is a bacon breed.
