How did Pterodactylus fly?
With a lightweight body, Pterodactylus was able to fly using its long, membranous wings. These were attached to the wrist bones and the bones of the fourth finger. Pterodactylus probably clung to cliff edges and then launched itself into the air, where it glided over the sea snatching fish from the surface.
