What is inside an earthworm?
An earthworm's body is made up of compartments called segments. The intestine and the nervous system run the entire length of the body. The hearts, brain, and reproductive organs are found near the front of the body. Each segment carries bristly hairs called setae. These help the worm grip the ground when moving.
