What do vets do?
|
Vets only spend part of their time in their office. There, they treat family pets, such as rabbits, dogs, and cats. The rest of the time, vets travel to see bigger animals, especially on farms. They care for cows, pigs, sheep, and other livestock and help prevent outbreaks of animal diseases. Some vets inspect meat and eggs, or test milk and other animal products.
