How is plastic made into shapes?
In blow moulding, a piece of hot plastic tubing is placed in a mould. Air is blown into the tube, pushing it out into the shape of the mould. In vacuum moulding, plastic is placed over a mould and heated. Air is removed, and the vacuum pulls the plastic into the mould.
