How does a hovercraft work?
|
A hovercraft travels over land and water by floating on top of a cushion of air. Powerful fans inside the hovercraft suck air down underneath it. A flexible rubber skirt around the edge of the hovercraft holds the air in as the craft rises. Propellers above the deck spin around to push the hovercraft forward.
