Make a Halloween Mask
Although you can buy masks for Halloween, it is much more fun to make your own. You might want to look like a devil, witch, ghost, skeleton, werewolf, or goblin.

You will need: a sheet of stiff cardboard, scissors, a pencil, paints and a brush, tape, a short stick, any old scraps of material, thread, or cotton-wool balls.

Draw the outline of the mask on a sheet of cardboard. Measure it for size against your face. Draw holes for the eyes and the mouth. Cut it out.

Paint the mask with creepy designs and colours. When it's dry, you might want to stick on a fuzzy beard or eyebrows.

Use tape to stick the back of the mask to the short stick. Put on your costume and go off to haunt the neighbourhood.
