Fruit, vegetables, and rice are left at the Taman Pule temple on the island of Bali, in Indonesia. People leave these offerings to the gods in honour of the spirits of their ancestors. This happens at the end of the Galungan festival which celebrates the victory of good over evil. Most Indonesians are Muslims, but on Bali people follow a local form of Hinduism.
