Stonehenge, a circle of huge stones, was built about 3,500 years ago. Nobody knows for certain what ceremonies took place there. Today, at every summer solstice, worshippers calling themselves 'Druids' gather at the stones to welcome the Sun. They are not the same as the historical Druids, who were ancient Celtic priests.
