Giant Rhinoceros
The largest land mammal that has ever been recorded was Baluchitherium, which lived about 35 million years ago. A kind of hornless rhinoceros, it was tall enough to look over the roof of a 2-story house, and 6 people could have walked side by side underneath its belly.
