Games and Hunting
Many kinds of everyday items have been found in Egyptian tombs. Among them are board games and toys. Girls played with dolls, and boys had toy hunting weapons. Pictures in the tombs show children playing games like hopscotch and leapfrog and depict young men wrestling. Children played ball games too.
Adults also played games, but the main sport for men was hunting. In the New Kingdom they hunted lions from a chariot, using bow and arrow.
