How you can help

We haven't got any coral reefs in Britain because our seawater is too cold for them. However, that doesn't mean that you can't help to protect the world's coral reefs.
The most important thing you can do is to know the facts. If you've read our article, you will be aware of what is damaging coral reefs. To save them, humans simply need to stop doing all of these things.
The next step is to tell your friends. It will help coral reefs to survive if more people know how amazing they are and what danger they are in.
Finally, if you are lucky enough to visit somewhere where there are coral reefs, remember to treat them well. They are beautiful places and we should be able to enjoy them without damaging them.
