SubtractionWhen subtracting numbers, it often makes it easier to think about what you need to add to the smaller number to arrive at the larger number. For example, 100 76 = ? Its easiest to do it this way. If you add 4 to 76 you get 80. If you add 20 to 80 you get 100. So 76 is 24 less than 100. 100 76 = 24. Try practising this with some other big numbers.
