'What if there was life on other planets?’ is a question that humans have been wondering about for a very long time. There are millions and millions of solar systems in the universe, many containing planets that could be just like ours. The chances of Earth being the only one with life on it are surely very low, but because all of the other solar systems are so far away from ours, it’s very difficult to look for signs of other life.

A point that most people agree on is that Earth is the only planet in our solar system to contain life. However, there is always the possibility that we’ve got it wrong, and that right here in our own solar system there are life forms we simply cannot see – life forms completely different to anything we have imagined!
