Space. It really is very, very big. The universe is bigger than we can possibly imagine, and we'll probably never find out all that there is to know about it, even in a million years. Despite this, we have learnt a lot about the universe in the thousands of years we've been studying it. Although we haven't found out if there is other life somewhere in the universe, we have developed the technology to start looking for it. By sending out radio signals into space, we are hoping that they will be received and replied to by any aliens out there.
