In this part of the website, we're going to take a look at the Vikings. You may know a bit about the Vikings already - that they lived a long time ago, sailed around in big boats and were very good at fighting. But can you imagine what it was like to actually be a Viking?

To find out, you would have to recreate the past. Recreating the past isn't always about the big events - the battles, journeys and adventures. It's often more about the little things, the details that effect everyday life.

Here we're going to look at something that neither we or the Vikings could do without - clothes. If you wanted to recreate the Viking past, what sort of clothes would you wear?
