       It takes a huge amount of planning to make sure you 
        are ready to take part in any Olympic event.  
      There are many famous names who have won Olympic medals: 
        Sebastian Coe, Sally Gunnell, Linford Christie, Kelly Holmes, Daley Thomson, 
        Katherine Merry, Steve Redgrave, Liz McColgan, Lennox Lewis and many more. 
        All of these people would have put loads of time and effort into their 
        training to make sure that they were at the fittest they could be when 
        the actual event took place.  
      Most people who enter the Olympics will have their own 
        personal trainer who will make sure that they are at their best. This 
        includes making sure that they eat well, and that their lifestyle is right 
        for the training that they are doing. You wouldn't be able to go out to 
        loads of parties and do all of the training you need to do to enter the 
        Olympics! 
      If you are keen on sport, and want to enter the Olympics, 
        the important thing is that you do something you enjoy. Most Olympic sports 
        people need to train all year round just for that one event! And that 
        training involves warming up properly before you begin and warming down 
        when you have finished.  
      You might need to run two or three miles a week, or 
        even more - it would be a waste of a lot of time and effort if you didn't 
        actually enjoy it!
