So, how would you actually make a musical instrument? What sounds do you think you need to make in order to make music? Well, there's no right or wrong answer to that one, but generally music has two main bits: melody (the TUNE!) and rhythm (the BEAT!!).

You might want to start by first drawing your instrument. How will it look? What kind of sound do you want it to make? Think about the materials you will be using to make the instrument. You may well find that the materials you have will affect the way the instrument will look and also the way it sounds!
