When you’ve ordered your stock, you need to get it delivered to the shop. There are lots of different ways of transporting goods to shops, depending on the size and amount of the products and the distance they have to go. Usually, shops have their goods delivered by a van or lorry. However, if you wanted to stock something from America in your shop, it would have to be flown over by plane. It costs more to get things delivered this way, which is why things from America can sometimes be very expensive in shops. If you were going to sell something that had been imported from America, you’d have to be very sure that people wanted to buy it
