Staff

Unless it was very small, it would be hard for you to run your shop on your own. If you did, you’d have to work every day and you’d never get a lunch break! So usually staff have to be employed to run the shop. If you have a big shop, you’ll need loads of staff including managers who tell everyone what to do, shop assistants who serve customers, security guards who make sure nothing gets stolen, stockroom staff who organise all of the stock before it goes on display and cleaners who keep the shop looking smart. They all have to be paid, and you need to make sure that you keep them all happy. If your staff are miserable, people won’t like coming in to your shop!
