WHAT A RESULT: Game of the Week

Arsenal produced the perfect end to their season on Saturday, with an exciting second-half comeback against Leicester City at Highbury. Along with winning the game, the Gunners claimed a place in history as the first team to finish a top-flight season undefeated since Preston North End in 1888-89.
But it wasn't achieved without a struggle. Despite already being relegated, the Leicester players fought hard and in the 26th minute went 1-0 ahead through a fine goal from ex-Arsenal striker Paul Dickov.
For most of the first half Arsenal appeared to have slipped into the same party mood as their supporters. Rather than tearing Leicester apart with their superior speed and skill, the players were sluggish and unable to string more than a couple of decent passes together. It was almost as if they were scared of making history.
Luckily for Arsenal this all changed after half-time, as it took just two minutes of play for them to win a penalty. Thierry Henry stepped up, steadied his nerves and drove the ball into Ian Walker's net. It was his 30th league goal of the season, making him by far the most prolific scorer in the Premiership.
At 1-1 Leicester had no real chance of spoiling the party and, although Arsenal were still below their best, the Foxes simply couldn't keep the Gunners at bay. With 22 minutes left, Dennis Bergkamp slipped a brilliant pass to the feet of Patrick Vieira. The Arsenal captain kept his cool to beat Ian Walker and carefully slide the ball into the back of the net. 2-1.
This produced an enormous roar from the Highbury crowd. However, it was soon beaten for volume when Martin Keown took to the field as a last minute substitute. The Arsenal legend needed to play to qualify for a championship medal and thanks to Arsene Wenger he was able to do just that.
The match finished in a 2-1 win for Arsenal and their statistics for the season showed: played 38, won 26, drawn 12, lost 0. That means they dropped just 24 points all season and won the Premiership with four games to spare. The question everyone is asking now: can Arsenal go unbeaten again next season?
